Happy Halloween!

Our Halloween party went so well last night that I'm still half asleep in recovery! Trick or Treating tonight is going to be very interesting. It was disappointing to have the forecast be so dismal all week leading up to the party, only to have it be a clear night, high of 75. SEVENTY FIVE!! IN OHIO!!! IN OCTOBER!!! We could have easily held the party outside as we originally planned without packing 45 people into our house. Still, it was a great night and I hope all of our guests had fun.

Two Months and Counting

Wow, Christmas is two months from today. When I think back to August 25, it really stops me in my tracks thinking about how fast that time has gone. And life is so much busier now than it was. Right now my mind is focused on my little one's baptism coming up, planning it, etc. Such a blessing she is!!! I'm here everyday looking for ideas and comments!

My Plate Is Full

So much going on right now, that Christmas is just a blink.

I work outside the home, I'm a Brownie leader and in charge of our service unit's Brownie Sleepover which, while it isn't until January, needs to be planned SOON. Also, my 8-year-old is being baptised on November 7th and there is planning to go into that. Thankfully, I have wonderful church friends who are helping me. So Christmas???? I went to Wal-Mart yesterday, the only real store in our county. I wouldn't even call it a real store, since it isn't even a Super Wal-Mart. They're remodeling the store. I found the items on my list and then thought I'd be nosy and see what was in other parts of the store. Christmas already.
